She wore a white Dior suit paired with a Dolce & Gabbana top and stood tall in a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps. On the surface, Melania’s choice of attire isn’t surprising because she loves tailored pieces and has worn designer suit sets before.
But if you dig a little deeper, the cream-colored pantsuit almost resembles the white shade suffragettes adopted in the 1900s. (Hillary Clinton famously wore white to make her speech at the Democratic National Convention in 2016.)
